Session Drums Club is a multisampled library of world-class acoustic drums recorded with plenty of natural room ambience to provide realistic depth and an organic vibe in the rhythm department.
 
The 4.5 GB of sampled drums in this Pack are divided up into 8 Standard Drum Racks and 8 MPE Drum Racks. Each Rack represents a complete kit captured in a great-sounding acoustic space, reminiscent of classic recordings of the past. $Link Learn more <GotoPage:Session Drums Includes>.
 
The kits load as Drum Racks with eight Macro Controls for tuning, envelope and EQ for each individual drum hit. Each drum in the Drum Rack also has its own channel and can therefore have its own effects and routing.
 
Session Drums Club also includes 20 MIDI Clips in various styles and patterns played by a professional session drummer. Each Clip loads with a full drum kit and you can easily swap out the entire Drum Rack or individual drum hits to create your own custom kit.

How to use MPE Kits:
 
The MPE Kits in Session Drums are specifically designed to play well on MPE-enabled pad controllers such as Push 3, but can be played on any MPE-enabled controller. Striking at different points on the Y-axis (Slide) of a pad allows subtle control of strike position, articulations and more. Only a selection of pads are MPE-enabled; the standard interaction in each kit is:
 
-> Main Snare (D1) controls the position of where the stick strikes the snare, moving from the center toward the rim.
-> Cowbell (D#1) chooses between two different cowbell strikes depending on the position
-> Secondary Snare (E1) controls a blend between snare strike and press roll, where the bottom of the range is a center strike, and the top is a press roll only. The roll length is determined by how long the pad is held and the length set on the ‘Press Release’ macro. A natural blend between strike and press roll can be achieved by striking at the bottom of the range and sliding upward.
-> All Toms have a slight increase in pitch when moving up the range.
-> Closed Hihat (F#1) opens the pedal of the hihat, from tightly closed at the bottom of the range to semi open at the top.
-> Open Hihat (A#1) works similarly to the Closed Hihat, blending from semi open to fully open. These can be played together as one continuous range.
-> Ride Cymbal (D#2) controls the position where the stick strikes the cymbal, moving from the edge towards the middle, with a bell strike at the very top of the range.

-> Kicks in various sizes with felt, wood or plastic beaters, mic'ed with dynamic or condenser mics.
-> Snares of many sizes and materials, including maple, birch, chrome, brass and bronze, sampled with different striking area and alternating left- and right-hand hits for each velocity, as well as various snare press articulations.
-> Hihats in a variety of sizes played via the pedal and tip or shank of the stick. Includes samples of alternating left- and right-hand hits for each velocity. In addition, the width of the open hihat can be mapped to a mod wheel or pedal for even more dynamics and realism.
-> Ride cymbals featuring samples played on the bell, middle and edge of the cymbal.
-> Crash, splash and china cymbals.
-> Toms in various sizes with alternating left- and right-hand samples for each velocity.
-> Tambourines and cowbells.
