*Welcome to Orchestral Strings.*

Ableton Orchestral Strings offers a comprehensive selection of naturally rich and dynamic stringed instruments. This Pack features over 4 GB of solo and ensemble violin, viola, cello and double bass, all recorded in their natural positions within the orchestra, complete with a number of articulations.

Each individual instrument loads as a Rack with Macro Controls for tone and envelope. In addition, each instrument features a preset with switchable articulation that let you change tonal characteristics in real time via a single Macro Control.

All samples were recorded using players from the Boston Pops, the Boston Ballet Orchestra and the Boston Symphony Orchestra at Futura Productions in Roslindale, Massachusetts, a converted Masonic temple that now operates as a state-of-the-art recording facility.
