Ableton Orchestral Mallets captures the true essence of symphonic mallet instruments in pristine quality. Over 2.5 GB of vibraphone, marimba, xylophone, crotales, glockenspiel, tubular bells, cymbals and timpani sounds have been carefully recorded at multiple velocity layers and with a variety of articulations in order to ensure a rich, detailed sound and feel.

Along with Racks for the individual instruments, each one also features a preset with articulation that is switchable in real time via a single Macro Control for maximum playability and realism.

All instruments take advantage of Live's resource-efficient sample engine, which automatically re-allocates CPU resources in real time to let you use more samples without compromising your workflow.

All samples were recorded using players from the Boston Pops, the Boston Ballet Orchestra and the Boston Symphony Orchestra at Futura Productions in Roslindale, Massachusetts, a converted Masonic temple that now operates as a state-of-the-art recording facility.
