The selection of congas, timbales, claves, shakers, tambourines, bells and more has been recorded with up to 20 velocity layers, eight articulations and four alternating hits per instrument. The 342 individual Drum Hits are organized into five Percussion Kits – ideal starting points for working in specific styles of Latin music – and 18 Instrument Kits for when you need a particular type of percussion sound. Kits are configured as Drum Racks, making it easy to hook up hardware, such as Push, and start playing immediately. Individual Drum Hits are configured as Instrument Racks with Macro Controls for tone, envelope and pitch for quick customization of sounds. The 258 included Clips are authentic rhythm patterns from a wide range of Latin music styles and genres. These are not just great for authentic salsa, merengue, son or mambo productions; they can also be easily stretched, edited, and injected into any track that needs that certain Latin feel.
