Leave mainstream listening conventions behind using the "Xtonal" folder with its instruments based on Solfeggio frequencies, the Indonesian Pelog scale and other unique tunings. *Tip:* The evocative macro names move beyond technical conventions to spark deeper levels of listening and experimentation - be ready to tweak controls that might challenge your expectations, with names that often move away from technical into more synesthetic descriptions of how they shape the sound. *Harmonic Drone Generator* The Harmonic Drone Generator is an eight-voice sine-wave drone synth that revolves around a root note, where voice number eight beats twice as fast as voice number one, and the rest at an evenly divided ratio between the first and the eighth voice. Each voice has individual mutes, panning, and musical intervals tuning capabilities from the root up to one octave above. The synth also allows for long portamentos to create ever-changing states between conventional tunings. Use it to create a slew of harmonic or non-harmonic sine-based drone landscapes, in both just and equal intonation, and explore Blade Runner-esque soundtracks, Art Pop inspired sound mats, or slowly evolving backgrounds for meditative purposes. It sounds excellent with wave folding, gentle overdrive, and reverb applied. *Tip:* To start/stop the device with Live's playback, turn off Latch in the device.
